  • Anna Reid

    Director of Marketing, Sydney Opera House

    Anna Reid has spent 16 years working passionately as a marketing, category and innovation manager with broad experience in Australia, New Zealand, Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. During this time, she held local, regional and global marketing roles for BP and Pacific Brands. In September Anna joined the Sydney Opera House as Marketing Director combing her love of marketing with one of Australia’s greatest icons.

    Anna’s zest for life means she always finds time to seek ways to engage with people, communities and brands in authentic ways. She spent a year working in India leading a renewable energy microfinance program. Outside of work Anna supports her husband’s Tasmanian organic apple cider business, Willie Smiths. Anna is now settled in her home at Sydney’s Bondi Beach.

  • Nigel Dalton

    CIO, REA Group

    Chief Information Officer of REA Group, Australia, Nigel Dalton, is a passionate lean and agile leader, with experience applying systems thinking principles beyond IT and product development in the USA, Australia and New Zealand.
    Nigel is responsible for the development and operation of the REA Group’s market-leading mobile and web property sites. He is the steward of the Commercial team at REA Group, who run realcommercial.com.au and associated mobile apps and sites.

  • Nigel Fenwick

    Vice President, Principal Analyst Serving CIOs Forrester Research

    Nigel serves business technology leaders, focusing on the role of technology as an enabler of business outcomes. His research focuses on the intersection of technology and marketing and includes coverage of business and technology strategy, digital business, social business strategy, marketing technology, and technology trends and their impact on competitive advantage.

    Since becoming an executive director and CIO at Reebok UK at the age of 26, Nigel has consistently led many technology industry trends: He was the first CIO to partner with Infosys to pioneer the offshore development model; he was the first CIO to introduce a marketing role to IT; and he was an early advocate of the business relationship management role that is now so critical to many IT organizations. Nigel went on to a successful career in technology marketing at Radius Retail and Transatlantic Software before releasing his inner entrepreneur, starting up an eCommerce research publishing business and a GPS fleet management software business. He joined Forrester as the general manager and practice leader of the IT Leadership Boards business in 2006, growing the business more than 300% in three years. Having spent equal time over his career in IT, marketing, and general management, Nigel now brings a unique business technology perspective to his research at
    Forrester.
    As an analyst, Nigel’s leading-edge research focuses on business at the intersection of marketing and technology. Recognized as a visionary with insight into emerging trends, Nigel has published leading research on social business strategy, business technology strategy, innovation, retail, and marketing. His latest research on digital business examines the fundamental business changes needed in the digital economy.

  • Tim Tez

    Chief Marketing Officer, AIA

    Tim Tez has over 15 years experience in the financial services industry and is currently the Chief Marketing Officer at AIA Australia. Prior to his role with AIA, Tim has held senior product, sales and strategy roles with AXA, TAL and Lumley Life.

    Tim holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics and Marketing), a Graduate Diploma Financial Planning and a Master of Business Administration through the Australian Graduate School of Management.

    Tim is a Fellow of the Financial Services institute of Australia and a member of the Economics Society of Australia and likes to give back to the industry through his work as a member of the Kaplan Education Taskforce for the Master of Applied Finance subject “Risk Insurance and Estate Planning”. Tim is passionate about the industry he works in and believes strongly in the value of life insurance.

    Tim has over 25 years experience in the IT industry, working in a variety of technical and management roles in various industries.

    Tim trained as a software developer, with 13 years practical experience in delivery of business software solutions for organisations in the media, education and financial services industries.

    Since 1999 Tim has been Chief Information Officer at Deloitte Australia. Deloitte is one of the largest professional services organisations in the world, with over 160,000 people in 140 countries, and 2010 revenues of US$27 billion.

  • Ben Allen

    General Manager of Group Marketing at Stockland

    Ben has worked at Stockland for more than nine years in various marketing and leadership roles. Prior to joining Stockland, Ben spent more than 15 years in marketing and strategy roles across various industries including finance, gaming and advertising. In his spare time, Ben together with his wife and three kids love nothing more than family surf trips. Ben is also a big rugby fan.

Natalie’s passion is aligning internal and external brand identity, her portfolio includes driving awareness and engagement via advertising, cross-channel marketing, social & content strategies, behavioural communication & analytics, sponsorship & events and public relations.

  • Kevin McAulay

    General Manager - Group Marketing & Communications, Super Retail Group

    As General Manager – Group Marketing & Communications at leading Australasian retailer Super Retail Group, Kevin provides strategic direction and thought leadership to the Group’s complex multi-brand, multi-platform retail model.

    Kevin’s direction and insights guide the Group in its aggressive multi-channel retailing strategy, to enable customers to shop wherever and however they prefer.

    Kevin has been instrumental in the performance and innovation of the digital assets of Super Retail Group, home to some of Australasia’s leading leisure brands and recognised as a domestic market leader in SEO and online retailing. During his time with the business, Kevin has led the marketing efforts of Supercheap Auto, BCF and the launch of FCO Fishing Camping Outdoors in New Zealand.

    Having spent more than 20 years in senior management and strategic roles in major Australian retail organisations, including Franklins, IGA and Sargents Pies, Kevin now holds key accountability for the Group’s strategic marketing.

  • Alan Hesketh

    CIO

    Alan is a seasoned business leader with a broad range of experience in delivering business value using Information Technology. He has worked in both public and private sectors, in a range of different industries, both nationally and internationally.

    Alan started his career with Unilever in New Zealand, transferring to South Africa and then England, spanning a period of 10 years in regional and global IS roles. He then moved to Australia to be the Chief Information Officer for Brisbane City Council, before returning to New Zealand as General Manager for Information Services in the grocery retailer Progressive Enterprises.

    When Progressive was acquired by Woolworths Australia, Alan became the Deputy Director General for the Information Directorate of the the NZ Ministry of Health, defining health information policies for the country, operating the national health IT services, and ensuring health payments were made to health care providers and recipients.

    In 2010 Alan moved back to Australia to take on the role of General Manager Group Information Services at Super Retail Group, where he led the IS team as the group grew to more than triple its size to become one of the leading speciality retailers in Australasia, with a strong multi-channel market-presence. In July 2014 Alan left the SRG to pursue new opportunities.

    For over 20 years Jeffrey has been working at the intersection of Marketing & Technology in the IT&T and financial services sectors. During his career Jeffrey has worked with ICl, Fujitsu, Nortel Networks and American Express in roles that focus on ensuring marketing technology aligns with business strategy and delivers engaging customer experiences.

    While at American Express Jeffrey has developed the strategies and delivered the capabilities for CRM, Marketing Automation, and Content Management & Data Management Platforms at a regional and global level. Working side by side with Technology and Marketing Jeffrey has been able to develop business aligned IT roadmaps that drive investment in lead generation, technology capabilities and sit at the foundation of sales & marketing strategies.

  • Jodie Sangster

    Chief Executive Officer, Association for Data-driven Marketing and Advertising

    Jodie Sangster is the CEO of the Association for Data-driven Marketing and Advertising (ADMA) and Chair of the Global DMA, a community of 30+ marketing associations worldwide.

    Her extensive career in the field of global data-driven marketing spans over 16 years and includes experience throughout the US, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

    Jodie began her career as a lawyer in London, specialising in the field of data protection. She joined the UK Direct Marketing Association in 1998, taking on responsibility for UK and European regulatory affairs.

    In 2001, she came to Australia to work as ADMA’s Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs, where she helped to shape the data-driven and digital marketing landscape.

    Jodie moved to New York in 2007 where she served as the Senior Vice President-Global Development for the US Direct Marketing Association. She was responsible for global operations and worldwide marketing initiatives, gaining a unique insight into global marketing and advertising issues.

    At the US DMA, she also played a pivotal role in developing international programs aimed at advancing and promoting data-driven and digital marketing.

    In 2011, Jodie returned to Australia where she was appointed CEO and Company Secretary of ADMA.

  • Nadia Cameron

    Nadia Cameron, Publisher and Editor of CMO, Associate Editor, CIO

    Nadia is a respected industry Journalist and Editor with nearly 15 years’ experience across print and online media brands. Throughout her career, she has maintained a focus on technology and business-to-business sectors, contributing to Australian Telecom and Business Asia before joining IDG Communications Australia’s online team in 2002 and working across Computerworld, PC World and LinuxWorld. Nadia became the News Editor of Australian Reseller News (ARN) in 2004 and was awarded the Best Technology Industry Journalist Award at the IT Journalism Awards the same year. As ARN’s Editor from 2007, she was not only responsible for the ARN weekly publication but also spearheaded its digital expansion and ARN Review e-mag launch, while also developing and chairing its highly successful roundtable series and annual Awards program. ARN was recognised as Best Industry Title in 2008.

    Nadia relocated to London in 2010, where she became Managing Editor of a collection of national and global business publications for the live events industry produced by independent publisher, Mash Media. During this time, she relaunched and grew its flagship titles Exhibition News and Exhibition World, the latter of which won Best Relaunch/Innovation of the Year at the 2012 UK PPA Independent Publisher Awards. She also transformed the annual Exhibition News Industry Awards into one of the most prestigious events in the UK event industry calendar, and debuted the Question Time forum series. In 2012, Mash Media tasked Nadia with creating a new quarterly publication in association with the Event Industry Alliance called FaceTime Magazine, aimed at event marketers.

    Nadia rejoined IDG Australia in 2013 as launch Editor of CMO, and CIO magazine Editor. She was instrumental in developing and then launching the CMO brand in April 2013 as a dedicated title for the modern marketing chief. Nadia sits at the helm of this dynamic brand and is responsible for editorial direction as well as content generation, industry partnerships and its emerging events portfolio.

  • Renzo Mostacci

    Renzo has over fifteen years experience leading the development of IT strategic plans, providing direct support for business strategy. Since 2009, Renzo has been leading Coates’digital transformation through the implementation of customer portals, mobility and data analystics. He has Implemented the Business Improvement Programme comprising of Sales Effectives through a CRM system, fleet management mobility systems, pricing optimisation, business intelligence and analytics.
