New CMO for Desygner

Desygner has a new CMO.
David Barzilay, the former head of marketing at Movus for 18 months, commenced in the newly created position this month. Desygner is a DIY graphic design web application.
Barzilay, who is also a guest lecturer at the Queensland University of Technology, told CMO he is very impressed with Desygner’s technology.
“Creating new campaigns and localising them fast has never been easier and we’re taking this message across the globe,” he said.
“I aim to establish two-way conversations with the millions of content creators in our platform, and listen attentively so we keep bringing new efficiencies to their daily lives.”
The previous acting CMO was the founder and COO of the business, Mariana Aguiar, who is now the CEO at Desygner. It is not known if Movus is replacing the head of marketing position at this time.
