In this episode of Conversations over a Cuppa with CMO, ABC's director of audiences, Leisa Bacon, shares how she's navigated the COVID-19 crisis, the milestones and adaptability it's ushered in, and what sustained lessons there are for marketers as we start to recover.

Leisa Bacon has over 25 years’ experience working across marketing, communications, digital and strategy roles. Throughout the last decade these have been at executive and director levels, in both government and large commercial businesses.

Leisa has strong foundations in customer-first thinking, processes and commercial ROI from her early career in blue chip consumer goods marketing; more recently she has focused on working with organisations navigating major change and transformation agendas. Her current role as Director of Audiences at the ABC focuses on building a strong understanding of audiences, stakeholder management, marketing, communications, digital, experience design and change management. She leads a team of 160 across all aspects of the audience experience, and is responsible for ensuring the ABC pivots with the changing behavior of audiences into an increasingly digital future.
