Tripadvisor partners with Langham Hosptility Group to enhance customer experience

Langham Hospitality Group set to add its hotel inventory to TripAdvisor's instant booking platform

TripAdvisor announced a partnership with Langham Hospitality Group to add its hotel inventory to its instant booking platform. Travelers will soon be able to book Langham hotels without leaving the TripAdvisor site experience.

“We are excited to join TripAdvisor’s new instant booking distribution channel,” said global director of e-commerce for Langham Hospitality Group, Nick Cohen. “It gives our customers the opportunity to make a seamless reservation on TripAdvisor, powered by our own direct inventory. Our partnership with TripAdvisor is focused on providing guests with the ideal set of options as they research and book their trip.”

TripAdvisor first launched its instant booking platform to U.S. consumers in June 2014, with a phased roll out to other international markets, including Australia and New Zealand, expected over time.

More recently, TripAdvisor has actively employed personalisation and gamification techniques to attract and retain visitors to its travel recommendation website, and constantly tweaks its website and mobile app, testing new ideas to better engage customers.

“Our partnership with Langham Hospitality Group is another milestone in our expansion of the breadth of trusted hotel brands bookable through TripAdvisor instant booking,” added Tripadvisor's senior vice president of global sales, Robin Ingle.
