Gerry Murray

Research Director, IDC

Gerry Murray is a Research Director with IDC’s Marketing and Sales Technology service where he covers marketing technology and related solutions. He produces competitive assessments, market forecasts, innovator reports, maturity models, case studies, and thought leadership research.

Prior to his role at IDC, Gerry spent six years in marketing at Softrax, an enterprise financial solutions provider. There, he managed marketing programs that produced 4 million emails a year, multiple websites, interactive tools and product tours, an online game, collateral, and PR. Concurrently, he was Managing Editor at RevenueRecognition.com, a thought leadership site featuring partnerships with IDC and the Financial Accounting Standards Boards (FASB) which was quoted and referenced in leading industry publications such as CFO magazine, BusinessFinance, and others.

Gerry spent the first half of his career at IDC advising executives from some of the world’s largest software and services providers on market strategy, competitive positioning, and channel management.

Paige O’Neill

CMO, Sitecore

As Chief Marketing Officer of Sitecore, Paige leads Sitecore’s global marketing organization including marketing strategy, product marketing, communications, demand generation and branding. With over 20 years of experience in senior marketing roles, Paige is a data-driven CMO with a track record of accelerating growth. She uniquely combines product marketing expertise with an extensive background in communications and PR and a passion for developing thought leadership and buyer-centric content programs that build strong awareness and differentiate companies from the competition. Her diverse experience crosses martech and digital experience, enterprise software, mid market, collaboration and mobile technology, cloud computing, green technology, and supply chain software.

Paige is regularly cited among the top women in B2B marketing and the top CMOs on Twitter by Forbes, Social Media Marketing Magazine, Heinz Marketing and others. In 2014, she was the recipient of Women in Business Award. She is a frequent conference speaker and guest blogger on CIO Magazine, Forbes, Network World and many other publications.

Prior to Sitecore, Paige was Chief Marketing Officer at digital workplace platform provider Prysm, where she repositioned the company and helped it transition to a combined SaaS software and hardware solution. Prior to Prysm, Paige was Chief Marketing Officer of SDL (LSE: SDL.L), a leader in customer experience, marketing and translation software. She also served as Vice President of Marketing for integrated marketing leader Aprimo. At both companies her thought leadership, messaging, demand generation and communications programs contributed to successful growth and at Aprimo led to a successful acquisition by Teradata (NYSE: TDC).

Paige also served as the CMO for two early-stage startups. As the chief marketer at Aravo Solutions and GreenRoad Technologies, her branding efforts around green technology helped both companies build early leadership in emerging markets and secure their Series C funding from high profile investors such as Cisco and Virgin Green Fund.

Jason Bradshaw

Chief customer and marketing officer, Volkswagen Group Australia

At 14 years old, Jason Bradshaw started his own telecommunications and hardware distribution business. It was there he began a lifelong passion for customer experience – even if he didn’t exactly know what it was called at the time.

Since that humble start, Jason has transformed the way people interact with organisations across a litany of sectors. He is currently Director of Customer Experience and Marketing at Volkswagen Group Australia.

With a deep empathy for customer needs and expectations, Jason has worked with some enduring and essential organisations – such as Telstra, Fairfax Media Limited, Target Australia and the New South Wales Government. In addition to his customer experience work, Jason has acted as Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee and as Board Director of Australia’s largest LGBTI health promotion and services organisation, ACON Health.

Mitchell Klaassen

Head of Technology, Big Red Group (BRG)

Mitchell Klaassen heads up the technology team at the Big Red Group (BRG), tasked with delivering aggressive digital transformation projects to build a globally scalable technology platform for multiple experience marketplaces. In his first six months in the role, Mitchell has led the team in delivering a million-dollar transition from a largely custom-build stack onto Salesforce Commerce Cloud, including dual AI applications, which is the first part of a wider roadmap of enabling the BRG to leverage a centralised supply warehouse model and build and develop improved audience engagement.

Prior to the BRG, Mitchell was CTO for Emagine, responsible for technological direction, architecture, development and innovation. Mitchell has a long history in telecommunications, including extensive leadership experience with cutting-edge real-time digital technologies. Prior to Emagine, Mitchell was the regional Chief Technology Officer (APAC) at Matrixx Software, helping drive their real-time digital commerce platform. He also spent 10 years with Redknee Solutions, holding multiple leadership positions – including Director of Solution Engineering, Product Management, Consulting and Network Architecture, across their real-time OSS/BSS portfolio. Mitchell started out his career with Nortel, across Network Engineering and Network Management Software business units.

Kshira Saagar

Head of Analytics and Data Sciences, The Iconic

Kshira Saagar (Shee-Rah Sa-Ga) has been with the Analytics/Decision Sciences industry for almost a decade now having worked across Americas, Asia, Europe and more importantly Australia. The bulk of his work has been focussed on developing solutions for the Analytics problem spaces of the Retail, Telecom and Insurance marketing departments at some of the leading Fortune 100 clients. In his other roles, he has enabled decision making through data for clients from the Media, Healthcare, Aviation, Logistics and FMCG organisations.

In his current role at The Iconic, as the Head of Analytics and Data Sciences, he’s responsible for understanding and enabling data driven decision making. Previously at Datalicious & prior to that at Fairfax, he was responsible for institutionalising data-driven analytics across the company’s core competencies and building new-age analytical products for the organisation.

Damian Madden is an award-winning global tech executive, keynote speaker and advisor on new technologies. He has extensive experience in the FashionTech space, helping global brands innovate and better address the demands of tomorrow’s consumer.

Bora Arslan

Chief analytics officer, IAG

Bora Arslan has decades of global leadership experience in the field of decision sciences including change management, digital transformations, customer experience, personalisation, strategy and execution of loyalty programs.

Bora presently is the Chief Analytics Officer for Insurance Australia Group (IAG) in Sydney. His current concentration is on analytics solutioning through Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Previously Bora was the executive lead for all analytics operations with the focus on digital and retail touchpoints and performance management for Ford Motor Company through its exclusive marketing partner GTB. Bora joined GTB from BGL Group in the UK where he was the executive lead for data informed business transformations.

Bora’s responsibilities were similar to his earlier role at Walmart, where he was the VP of Global Decision Sciences and Analytics Strategy. His main objective with Walmart was to develop and maintain customer focused services and operations, utilizing advance technologies and emerging big data methods across all international operations.

Before Walmart, Bora led enterprise capability development efforts for Walgreens as the Head of Customer Analytics. Prior to Walgreens, Bora provided consulting services to a wide range of leading companies from several industries.

As Managing Analytics Partner for Peppers and Rogers Group, Bora was especially recognised after pioneering several successful efforts of creating synergistic customer experience infrastructures for large conglomerates.

Nadia Cameron

Nadia Cameron, Publisher and Editor of CMO, Associate Editor, CIO

Nadia is a respected and award-winning industry Journalist and Editor with 17 years’ experience and is the Publisher and Editor of CMO from IDG.

Throughout her career, she has maintained a focus on technology and business, working for titles such as CIO, Computerworld, PC World, Australian Reseller News (ARN), Exhibition News, Business Asia, and now CMO. From 2010 to 2012, Nadia was Managing Editor of business publications for the UK live events industry, and created FaceTime Magazine for event marketers. She’s also responsible for launching and transforming key industry events, such as the annual ARN Industry Awards and Exhibition News Awards.

Nadia rejoined IDG Australia in 2013 to create CMO, a dedicated title for the modern marketing chief. In 2015, CMO launched the CMO50 program, now recognised as the country’s premiere list for modern marketing excellence, supported by a highly prestigious annual event.

David Bray

David Bray is the Regional Vice President for PROS in ANZ. As leader of the go-to-market strategy for PROS ANZ, David expertly guides businesses into a successful digital transformation with high-level dynamic pricing, e-commerce platforms and best-of-breed cloud-based solutions. David has been at the forefront of the global digital transformation for over 20 years, working with leading organisations and software vendors, including Oracle-NetSuite, Teradata, and JDA Software, and partnering with major clients that are leaders in their industries to implement innovative cloud and software solutions that deliver measurable results. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney.
