Gerry Murray

Research Director, IDC

Gerry Murray is a Research Director with IDC’s Marketing and Sales Technology service where he covers marketing technology and related solutions. He produces competitive assessments, market forecasts, innovator reports, maturity models, case studies, and thought leadership research.

Prior to his role at IDC, Gerry spent six years in marketing at Softrax, an enterprise financial solutions provider. There, he managed marketing programs that produced 4 million emails a year, multiple websites, interactive tools and product tours, an online game, collateral, and PR. Concurrently, he was Managing Editor at RevenueRecognition.com, a thought leadership site featuring partnerships with IDC and the Financial Accounting Standards Boards (FASB) which was quoted and referenced in leading industry publications such as CFO magazine, BusinessFinance, and others.

Gerry spent the first half of his career at IDC advising executives from some of the world’s largest software and services providers on market strategy, competitive positioning, and channel management.

Paige O’Neill

CMO, Sitecore

As Chief Marketing Officer of Sitecore, Paige leads Sitecore’s global marketing organization including marketing strategy, product marketing, communications, demand generation and branding. With over 20 years of experience in senior marketing roles, Paige is a data-driven CMO with a track record of accelerating growth. She uniquely combines product marketing expertise with an extensive background in communications and PR and a passion for developing thought leadership and buyer-centric content programs that build strong awareness and differentiate companies from the competition. Her diverse experience crosses martech and digital experience, enterprise software, mid market, collaboration and mobile technology, cloud computing, green technology, and supply chain software.

Paige is regularly cited among the top women in B2B marketing and the top CMOs on Twitter by Forbes, Social Media Marketing Magazine, Heinz Marketing and others. In 2014, she was the recipient of Women in Business Award. She is a frequent conference speaker and guest blogger on CIO Magazine, Forbes, Network World and many other publications.

Prior to Sitecore, Paige was Chief Marketing Officer at digital workplace platform provider Prysm, where she repositioned the company and helped it transition to a combined SaaS software and hardware solution. Prior to Prysm, Paige was Chief Marketing Officer of SDL (LSE: SDL.L), a leader in customer experience, marketing and translation software. She also served as Vice President of Marketing for integrated marketing leader Aprimo. At both companies her thought leadership, messaging, demand generation and communications programs contributed to successful growth and at Aprimo led to a successful acquisition by Teradata (NYSE: TDC).

Paige also served as the CMO for two early-stage startups. As the chief marketer at Aravo Solutions and GreenRoad Technologies, her branding efforts around green technology helped both companies build early leadership in emerging markets and secure their Series C funding from high profile investors such as Cisco and Virgin Green Fund.

Silvio Giorgio

General Manager, Data Science, Australia Post

An energetic senior leader, appointed by the Group CFO to disrupt from within and bring Finance into the future; responsible for driving the vision and strategy of Finance & Commercial Services through innovation and behavioural change to support Australia Post’s aspirations.

Silvio established and leads the Group Data Science capability at Australia Post, applying artificial intelligence, machine learning, predictive modelling, robotics and other funky stuff with data to improve safety, service and customer experiences.

Ryan Gracie

Chief marketing officer, Catch Group

Ryan Gracie is a marketing and media professional, operating at the intersection of marketing, technology and creative. Starting life as cameraman with the WIN TV network, Gracie went on to become the General Manager of the WIN radio network, Digital Lead for APN News & Media and more recently he spent 4 years as the Digital Marketing Manager for JB Hi-Fi, establishing a focus on the digital channel for the iconic Australian retailer. A stint as Marketing Director with Global Toy & Sporting goods manufacturer Funtastic, immersed him in product design and brand creation. As a retail marketing expert, Gracie now heads up marketing for Australia’s largest ecommerce business, Catch Group which includes leading brands Catch.com.au, Brands Exclusive, The Home, Catch Connect & Catch Personal Loans.

Jason Blackman

CIO, Carsales

As the chief information officer at carsales.com, Jason is responsible for leading the talent team that develops, operates and integrates the technology across the company to provide great customer experiences, and streamline the carsales business domestically and internationally.

He is passionate about people, product, business and technology – and importantly, developing great teams that deliver results. Jason is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Computer Society, and holds a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of South Australia and a Bachelor in Technology from RMIT.

Prior to carsales, Jason held a number of positions across various industries, including utilities, manufacturing, finance and defence in Australia and New Zealand.

Josie Brown

Chief analytics and marketing officer, Tennis Australia

Josie has more than 20 years’ experience in the digital marketing arena and is responsible for the overall execution of all marketing and brand strategies at Tennis Australia as well as ensuring the organisation is at the forefront of data-aware decision making.

She has expertise in transforming business practices in the area of digital marketing and consumer-centric operations. Prior to joining Tennis Australia she was Director of Digital, APAC at J Walter Thompson. She has an interest in how consumers adapt to well designed online tools and a personal interest in how voice technology is changing behaviour as it becomes more widely adopted.

Tony Gruebner

Head of Online Analytics for Sportsbet

Tony is a resourceful leader with commercial experience across a number of competitive industries throughout Australia, United Kingdom, Ireland and New Zealand.

As the General Manager of Analysis, Insights and Modelling, his current role oversees a department of 40+ skilled analysts and data scientists that are tasked with creating data products that improve the experience for our customers and to support the business by providing relevant and timely information and insights that help to improve decision making in the business.

Nadia Cameron

Nadia Cameron, Publisher and Editor of CMO, Associate Editor, CIO

Nadia is a respected and award-winning industry Journalist and Editor with 17 years’ experience and is the Publisher and Editor of CMO from IDG.

Throughout her career, she has maintained a focus on technology and business, working for titles such as CIO, Computerworld, PC World, Australian Reseller News (ARN), Exhibition News, Business Asia, and now CMO. From 2010 to 2012, Nadia was Managing Editor of business publications for the UK live events industry, and created FaceTime Magazine for event marketers. She’s also responsible for launching and transforming key industry events, such as the annual ARN Industry Awards and Exhibition News Awards.

Nadia rejoined IDG Australia in 2013 to create CMO, a dedicated title for the modern marketing chief. In 2015, CMO launched the CMO50 program, now recognised as the country’s premiere list for modern marketing excellence, supported by a highly prestigious annual event.
