National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) has welcomed Lorelle Yee as the organisation's director of partnerships and engagement to help the Institute bring the power of the performing arts to stage, screen and future media.
Yee joins NIDA from Chief Executive Women where she was director of member engagement. She led marketing at the Australian Association of National Advertisers and Screen Producers Australia.
Previously, while at Foxtel, Yee led subscriber marketing and channel integration teams and later became marketing communications director for World Wrestling Entertainment’s first A/NZ office. Until 2018, Lee was also working on Planet Eve Organics, a skincare brand she founded in 2009.
“We are in a partnership business, and I am looking forward to working with Lorelle to build important and long-lasting relationships that support NIDA both on the national and the global stage, across the performing arts, business and creative industries,” NIDA CEO, Liz Hughes, said.
Media and communications consultant, Jamie Campbell, who had been overseeing partnerships and engagement will continue working with NIDA in a senior advisory capacity. Another appointment strengthening NIDA’s executive team is that of Susan Kibukamusoke, the new director of people and culture. She's tasked with helping NIDA fulfil its commitment to building and maintaining an inclusive, agile, diverse culture across staff and students.
Kibukamusoke came from the National Indigenous Australians Agency’s HR leadership team and she has worked on inclusion, diversity and cultural change for the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science, and for the Sydney Opera House.
