Dataweavers announce global launch of its business


Australian martech outfit, Dataweavers, has announced the acceleration of the global launch of its business, following major client wins in the US, international uptake of its world-first SaaS experience for Sitecore, and new international presence in the UK and US.

Launched in Australia in late 2018, Dataweavers is a managed martech hosting company offering a complete hosting service for enterprise martech platforms, delivering performance, security and price guaranteed on the Microsoft Azure Platform. The managed service is backed by a performance availability, and security guarantee that helps organisations visualise their deployment and audit key metrics around Sitecore.

Demandbase unveils Demandbase One


Demandbase One has debuted, bringing together the best of Demandbase and Engagio to help B2B revenue teams find and prioritise target accounts, engage them across channels, and close deals.

By combining proprietary data, third-party data and a company’s own first-party data, Demandbase said its latest solutino gives revenue teams a complete view of their customers and prospects at every stage of the buying journey. And with sophisticated AI and machine learning, Demandbase One can clearly direct teams to the accounts that will most likely convert to pipeline and ultimately, become valuable customers.

The Demandbase One product suite includes the Demandbase ABM [account-based marketing] Platform, a proprietary data, and integrations with first-party systems like CRM and marketing automation; Demandbase Advertising that gives marketers the ability to deliver personalised ads to reach their target accounts accurately; Demandbase Personalization that helps create a tailored experience for target accounts visiting a brand’s website;  Demandbase Orchestration that brings scale and sophistication to marketing automation; and Demandbase Attribution that lets companies use multi-touch attribution to measure marketing ROI and see which programs are moving the pipeline and revenue needle.

Yieldify and Klaviyo announce new integration


Yieldify and Klaviyo have announced a new advanced integration and partnership to help ecommerce companies improve their email and SMS marketing.

The new advanced email personalisation integration leverages the advanced on-site personalisation and lead capture capabilities of Yieldify with Klaviyo’s email marketing and SMS platform.  

This partnership now allows marketers to increase the size of their email and SMS databases, with highly engaged subscribers and enriched Klaviyo profiles. With no coding or development work required, this new advanced email personalization integration changes the way that marketers can speak to email or SMS subscribers moving forward.

Criteo integrates with Oracle Data Cloud


Criteo has announced an integration with Oracle Data Cloud to strengthen its existing brand safety offering.

Criteo’s AI Engine, a predictive bidding tool, is now integrated with Oracle’s solution to provide real-time content review and classification pre-bid to clients across suitable brand categories.

The integration marks Criteo’s execution on its full-funnel vision and continued diversification beyond retargeting. In Australia, the company has launched a range of new products, platforms and programs over the last 18 months, including a self-service platform and Criteo Partners, a global partnership program that helps grow its channel partners’ customers.

SugarCRM acquires Loaded Technologies


CX specialist, SugarCRM, has acquired Loaded Technologies, a business consulting, CRM strategy and cloud implementation services provider based in Sydney, Australia.

With this acquisition, Sugar said it's expanding its ability to meet implementation service demand in Australia and the broader Asia-Pacific region for its time-aware, AI-powered sales, marketing and service software to help companies deliver a high-definition customer experience. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Socialbakers adds conversational AI chatbots to its marketing platform

Social media marketing platform, Socialbakers, has integrated conversational AI chatbot technology into the Socialbakers Suite to enable marketers to automatically identify unanswered questions and instantly respond to frequently asked questions.  

Socialbakers' chatbot enables brands to identify frequently asked questions, isolate and understand the top issues facing customers, customise friendly auto-responses, create conversation flows in line with customer personas, generate prompt responses in any language, create helpful responses to cover any shift, time zone or geographic region, allow seamless handoff from chatbot to human, address complex  questions, improve conversation patterns with AI and analyse results and pinpoint problems to improve the chatbot experience.

Snowflake releases new features for Data Cloud 

Snowflake, creator of the Data Cloud, has announced new features that it claims will enable Snowflake customers to work with more types of data, have a more powerful developer experience, and access data services just as easy it is to access data within the Data Cloud.

The new features include Snowpark that allows data engineers, data scientists,and developers to write code in their languages of choice, using familiar programming concepts, and then execute workloads such as ETL/ELT, data preparation, and feature engineering on Snowflake. The new features also include Data Services on Snowflake Data Marketplace to create live, secure and bi-directional access to data to perform a range of data enrichment services on, such as risk assessment, augmenting a data set, or outsourcing more advanced analysis.

Snowflake will now also support unstructured data, such as audio, video, pdfs and imaging data to provide the ability to orchestrate pipeline executions of that data. Finally, data governance will be available across all data objects and workloads in Snowflake with row access policies for restricting returned result sets when queries are executed.

Metigy raises AU$20 million to go global
Metigy, an AI-powered marketing solution for small businesses, has raised $20 million in a funding round, led by Cygnet Capital.

The new capital comes as Metigy marks 300 per cent year-on-year revenue growth and an increase in its customer base to 26,000 small businesses globally. Metigy, which counts Google and Optus as key channel partners, gives more than 26,000 businesses across 92 countries AI-led strategy insights and recommendations to improve their social and digital marketing performance.

The oversubscribed funding round is being used to accelerate Metigy’s international expansion in the US and SEAsia, and grow the company’s product and engineering teams in Australia and establish US and Singapore offices. Incoming institutional investors in the round included Regal Funds Management, OC Funds, Five V Venture Capital, and Thorney, which added to early-stage investments from Cygnet, CP Ventures and We Are Social.
