After nearly 18 months as chief digital officer for Hotsprings, Sven Lindell has made the transition back to chief marketing officer (CMO), this time for Winning Group.
Lindell took up the reins as CDO of Hotsprings, a collection of fashion brands, last year, following a stint as CMO at Temple & Webster for two years. Prior to this, he was in digital roles at Woolworths and Bras N Things.
Lindell told CMO he is delighted to join and lead marketing for the Winning Group, executing a complete approach across all channels for the Winning Appliances and Appliances Online businesses.
“The Winning Group is a century-old business, which has grown solidly off the back of their industry-leading customer service, multi-sensory shopping experiences and offering of the world’s best brands,” he said.
“On a personal note, I am truly passionate about marketing innovation and buyer behaviour. So I look forward to working with Winning Group’s chief strategy officer and neuroscientist, Katharina Kuehn, chief executive officer, John Winning and the Group's broader marketing team, to further demonstrate the exceptional shopping experiences we offer customers and our unique approach to personalisation.”
At Hotsprings, which includes brands such as PE Nation, Cooper St, Lover, Rebecca Vallance, and Vestire, his remit was helping support a transformation from wholesaler to direct-to-consumer in a challenging fashion retail market. Lindell jumped into the role, streamlining martech to ensure its launch into digital was marketing-driven.
