Janus Henderson Investors has appointed Heather Gyton Carroll as its new head of marketing for Australia.
Previously, Gyton Carroll was head of marketing at Perpetual Investments for five years. She will report to head of Australia, Matt Gaden, and head of Asia-Pacific marketing, Geraldine Walsh.
Gaden said Janus is delighted Gyton Carroll is joining the company.
“Her wealth of experience in asset management marketing will be vital to assist with our growth ambitions in Australia,” he said.
“Heather’s experience spans a wide range of asset classes and investment vehicles across the retail, wholesale and institutional channels. She also has a proven track record of establishing and growing brands and executing effective marketing strategies for diversified funds management businesses.”
Prior to her time at Perpetual, Gyton Carroll was head of marketing at Colonial First State Global Asset Management, where she spent over seven years in strategic marketing, channel management and brand management for Australia, and for the group’s portfolio of brands worldwide.
Gyton Carroll started her career in asset management at Hermes Investment Management in London.
