Kennedy returns to Cotton On

Cotton On lured marketer back with a general manager of customer – CO brands role.

Marketer Col Kennedy has returned to Cotton On after a stint with both Country Road and Grill’d.

Kennedy was marketing director at Grill’d for just over a year before Cotton On lured him back with a general manager of customer – CO brands role in March. 

He spent two-and-a-half years with Australian clothing retailer, Cotton On, where he was global head of marketing and ecommerce between 2014-2016, culminating in him featuring on the CMO50 in 2016

Kennedy was general manager – brand and customer experience at Country Road, and general manager of marketing at Target. His professional history also includes local and global stints with The Walt Disney Company, Sony PlayStation and TUI Travel. 

Kennedy told CMO Cotton On offered a great broader role he couldn't resist.

“It’s the first time I've returned to a business and I'm so excited to do so,” he said.  

“I am leading all aspects of marketing, PR, digital marketing, social media, store experience and creative, with a newly-formed customer team across Cotton On, Cotton On Body, and Rubi.”
