Ola has confirmed Natasha Daly has left ride share platform after only seven months as marketing director.
Ola confirmed Daly is no longer with the business and it is currently recruiting for a new senior hire in the role of marketing director for ANZ.
Daly joined Ola in April this year to lead the marketing and brand functions as the brand looks to expand into other cities. She has more than 20 years of global, multi-disciplined experience. In her previous position with Caltex Australia, Natasha launched ‘The Foodary’. Daly has also been marketing associate director of Procter & Gamble.
This move comes after Simon Smith was hired as Ola’s first managing director for Australia in July.
Smith, whose previous roles include CEO of eBay Australia, non-executive director of Sportsbet, VP of Virtual Offices at Servcorp and a consultant at McKinsey and Company, has been tasked with developing the leadership team and building Ola’s presence in Australia.
The brand launched locally in January; the first country outside of its native India. Since then Ola has since expanded to Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Canberra, Brisbane and the Gold Coast with over 30,000 driver partners now registered to the platform.
