Former NAB communications staffer, Danielle Clarke, has clinched SuperFriend’s newly-created head of marketing and communications role.

Clarke has extensive experience in marketing and communication roles, spanning two decades in senior positions in corporate and industry super funds.

“It’s an interesting time to join the SuperFriend team while the financial services industry is going through a period of unprecedented change. I look forward to helping the team collaborate with our partner funds to improve employee and member wellbeing outcomes,” Clarke said in a statement.

SuperFriend - the workplace wellbeing partner of the superannuation and insurance industry - is a mental health organisation that partners with the financial sector to improve the mental health and wellbeing of their people and organisations by customising solutions to suit their specific needs.

Clarke joins SuperFriend from a stint at NAB Super managing member communications. Prior to this, Clarke spent six years at UniSuper managing member communications, and before that, she was communications consultant at Mercer, providing superannuation funds with stratkeegic communication advice.

SuperFriend CEO, Margo Lydon, said Clarke brings to Superfriend a wealth of experience across the superannuation space. Clarke will report directly to Lydon.

“Since 2012, more than 15,000 employees have increased their knowledge and skills around mental health and wellbeing in the workplace by participating in SuperFriend’s programs. Danielle’s passion for raising awareness of workplace mental health and wellbeing and being able to understand members’ needs will be of immense value to SuperFriend and our partners.”
