Swinburne and Adobe partner on new postgrad course for marketers

Swinburne is offering a new postgraduate course for students to upskill and learn cutting-edge martech skills in conjunction with Adobe

Melbourne-based Swinburne University has partnered Adobe to offer a new postgraduate course for marketing professionals seeking to learn the latest march skills, featuring Adobe Experience Cloud.

The new Graduate Certificate of Digital Marketing Technologies incorporates the current content from Adobe's Digital Learning Services, giving students access to the Adobe Experience Cloud’s industry-leading technology.

“The skills in this area are in high demand from industry,” says Swinburne's senior digital media lecturer, Peter Ciszewski. “This course is ideal for people looking to retrain and upskill in the areas of digital marketing technology.

“Exposure to cutting-edge enterprise-level digital marketing technologies will give graduates of this course better opportunities for progressing their professional careers.”

The announcement follows a year on from Swinburne's first partnership with Adobe on a new digital advertising technology major and minor degree, which provides students with the digital marketing skills they need to deliver on industry’s fast-paced technological requirements.

Meanwhile earlier this year, Swinburne struck an agreement with Adobe that not only sees the tertiary institution adopting the vendor’s Marketing Cloud, it's also using it to transform its digital and marketing curriculum.

Swinburne has also continued incorporating Adobe Digital tools into the digital advertising technology major and minors available to undergraduate students at Swinburne.

According to Adobe's senior director of training services, Kim Peretti, the introduction of the Graduate Certificate and Digital Marketing Technologies course represents another significant milestone in the partnership.

“The new course underscores Swinburne and Adobe’s commitment to fostering the skills of the next generation by preparing them to adapt, learn and grow,” she added. “By adequately addressing the digital requirements of today’s workforce, we’re equipping students with an arsenal of skills, enabling them to thrive in tomorrow’s workplace.”
