Aussie training and recruitment agency, Data Scouts, has launched a ‘student first’ digital transformation course aimed at bringing together all faculties from across the university together in an effort to boost student experience.
The Data Scouts digital transformation course methodology involves facility breaking down into teams tasked with mapping out the current state of the student lifecycle and experience. These teams then map out the future state of the student lifecycle including a set of prioritised campaigns that will deliver on the university’s corporate and marketing objectives and that are aligned their new student experience vision.
From here, the university can then review the technology needed from marketing automation and CRM software vendors to enable these campaigns along with a breakdown of the skills required within these teams to implement them.
Data Scouts co-founder, Will Scully-Power, said the company had already seen early success having already launched with one Australian prestigious university, where more than 400 staff are already being trained on its digital transformation methodology. He said this is enabling staff to get much faster time to value in their digital transformation programs.
“We have found a large number of Australian universities have procured a marketing automation and/or CRM platform without staff really understanding the why and more importantly, how certain campaigns are helping to achieve the universities objectives," Scully-Power said.
