Industry super fund-owned bank, ME, has appointed Ingrid Purcell as its new chief experience officer (CXO), to spearhead the bank’s brand, customer insights, marketing, communications and digital functions.

Purcell replaces former CMO Rebecca James, who moved on to join small business lender Prospa in October this year. James was among the top 25 in this year's CMO50.

Joining ME in March 2014 as the brand and digital director, Purcell has been acting in the role of group executive, people experience since May 2017.

Prior to joining ME, Ingrid led large teams working as a business director at creative digital agencies, MRM Meteorite, Publicis Chemistry and Lavender based in London.
