Workforce planning cloud vendor, Anaplan, has appointed Australian B2B software expert, Grant Halloran, as its global CMO.

Halloran made the move to Anaplan from Infor, where he was global vice-president and general manager after Infor’s acquisition in of Orbis in 2012, a SaaS-based marketing software company he co-founded.

“I’m thrilled to join Anaplan,” Halloran said. “Our platform gives us huge scope to bring agility to virtually any enterprise planning process, which makes our market opportunity so large. This problem we fix is global and we are addressing it with a truly international business culture, which makes Anaplan such a dynamic and exciting company.”

In addition to founding Orbis, Halloran spent more than 10 years as the managing director and co-founder of Australian-based companies, Brand Manager and ProductBank. In 2001, he was recognised by eMag as one of 30 young people changing the world through technology innovation.

Anaplan enables users to deploy easy-to-use applications to solve complex planning challenges across their sales, finance, operations and HR functions.
