Friday infographic: Rating Snapchat's marketing potential

A look at whether brands should be investing in the Snapchat social channel

This week’s infographic is a short and snappy way for brands to decide whether they should be building a presence on Snapchat.

Produced by US-based digital agency, FlightPath, the infographic points out Snapshot has 30 million users, 80 per cent of which are between 18 and 25 years of age, making it a key social platform for brands. In addition, Snapchat claims to have 700 million photos and videos posted on a daily basis.

However, just because it exists, should brands be making the effort? Not necessarily. The quiz-based infographic asks marketers a series of questions to determine whether they have the resources – and consumers for that matter – to make Snapchat worth the effort.

More than money talks in sports sponsorship

As a nation united by sport, brands are beginning to learn money alone won’t talk without aligned values and action. If recent events with major leagues and their players have shown us anything, it’s the next generation of athletes are standing by what they believe in – and they won’t let their values be superseded by money.
